Delete your Daylta data

Daylta has no user accounts and keeps no copy of your data on any server. Deleting your data is something you do on your phone, and it takes about a minute.

What we hold about you: nothing. Tasks, plans, timer sessions, reflections, streaks, health readings and settings are stored only on your device. There is no Daylta account to close and no server-side record to erase.

Option A · Delete everything by uninstalling

  1. Long-press the Daylta icon on your home screen or app drawer.
  2. Choose Uninstall (or App info → Uninstall).

Android removes the app together with its private storage, which is where all your Daylta data lives. This is immediate and permanent.

Option B · Wipe the data but keep the app

  1. Open Android Settings → Apps → Daylta → Storage & cache.
  2. Tap Clear storage (on some phones, Clear data).

Daylta will start fresh, as if newly installed, and ask you to go through onboarding again.

Option C · Wipe everything from inside the app

  1. Open the Profile tab and scroll to the bottom.
  2. Tap Sign out and start fresh and confirm.

This erases your goals, tasks and progress on the device, and restarts Daylta at the welcome screen. It cannot be undone.

Option D · Delete specific things inside the app

  • Swipe or long-press a task in My Day to delete it.
  • Goals and their tasks can be removed from the goal's page.
  • Reflections are stored per day and can be cleared from the day's report.

Retention after deletion

Because nothing is sent to us, there is no retention period on our side: once the data is removed from your device, it is gone. Anonymous, aggregated install statistics that Google Play shows developers are not linked to you and cannot be deleted per user.
